The new system replaces five individual machines, but can still do more. The compact machine fits on only approx. 15 m² and can now be located directly where it is needed in the production hall. Long distances for product and material are eliminated. Whereas it used to be necessary to work in two shifts, the same output is now achieved in one shift. The employees there are therefore much more flexible and can be deployed at other workplaces in addition. This means that they can perform more interesting and higher-skilled activities. Occupational safety has also reached a higher level thanks to completely different and modern protective devices on the machine.
All the plinth variants needed for the laboratory equipment can be completely machined on this new CNC machine. This new acquisition is a further step towards an even more effective and efficient production. The next project step will be to integrate the high-bay warehouse into the work process. Then the required material will arrive fully automatically at the CNC unit.
